The art of making a violin
As you already know my name is Anton Genchev and I’ve always found interest in woodcarving. Since I was a little boy I was amazed by the master craftsmen I had the chance to work with. I’ve learned from their extraordinary work and explicit techniques.
For more than 20 years now I have been working on my own on the creation and/or restoration of violins, violas and cellos for customers from all over the world.
The wood I use for creating these magnificent instruments is spruce and maple of the highest quality. Logged from the Balkan area, it has been dried naturally for more than 10 years guaranteeing its excellent sound qualities.
